If you want to make something plural, you can add an "s" to the end (ex. tongues instead of tongue). But it is VERY important that you make sure you know which form of the word you will be tested on. For example, you will be required on the test to spell "adjusted" and not "adjust". If you spell the incorrect form of the word, the test will count it as wrong. So short answer: try to use the exact form of the word that appears on your spelling list. If there's a serious issue, just let me know.
